Daintree Siesta provides an affordable family-friendly rainforest haven to stay and relax with a range of affordable accommodation including air-conditioned motel-style cabins and powered and unpowered campsites.
Air-conditioned motel rooms accommodate between two and up to five guests (family, queen and twin style). Each room has external access, parking, bathroom, kettle, mini fridge, toaster, television, comfortable beds and linen. There is also an outside seating area to enjoy the natural surrounds. Pet friendly rooms and accessible rooms available.
We also have a rainforest caravan and campground (powered and unpowered) is on a rainforest loop and caters to tents, campervans, camper trailers, caravans and more. See campground page or our website for more information.
Our onsite licenced restaurant serves delicious meals for lunch and dinner with a spacious, welcoming open air tropical dining area. (Please note that the restaurant is closed on Saturday). We can help with local tour bookings and advice so you can enjoy your Daintree visit. There is also a selection of games and DVDs available at reception for when you want to take a break from exploring.
Guests can explore on our private tranquil walking trails in the oldest rainforest in the world while spotting endemic Daintree flora and fauna. Listen to the rainforest sounds while sitting outside your accommodation and immerse in nature. Daintree Siesta is alive with native wildlife and rainforest plants. You may also see a cassowary and chick and spectacled flying foxes in the campground.
We are centrally located in Diwan in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest near local attractions – only 30 minutes north of the car ferry and 30 minutes south of Cape Tribulation on sealed road. With limited Optus mobile reception you can also digital detox and truly escape the hustle and bustle while immersed in nature.
